Flea Furs

So, you know the traditional fur lining around the neck of coats? Apparently that was originally a "flea fur", a fur worn about the neck in the hopes that fleas would bite the fur rather than the human.

Because people rarely bathed or washed their clothes or bedsheets.

That is also strongly nasty.

HOLY CRAP!!!

I haven't posted anything in a while. Sorry. Here is a summation of my life lately.

1. I'm nearly finished with Dracula's Guest.
2. I am finished with the cover art for Brian Clevenger's Nuklear Age. (2nd link goes to the first edition on amazon, with a different cover. Second edition with my cover comes out.. later. )
View the cover, in all its majesty.
3. Ben, the rest of your superpeople is next up to bat, and will be finished by the end of the month. Yo.
4. Then I make a Marvel/DC portfolio, and find as many editors as possible that I can send directly to. I'm excited to get going on this, as I've made adjustments/improvements to my styleee since the portfolio I showed at San Diego. Its going to be fully inked and colored, but broken down into pencils, inks and colors (that felt racist to write) .
5. Then, Sean, on to the Celestial pitch. I = T3h excited!

Also, Fraction and I are going to tag team the Restored Macross DVD set.

He's in NYC for 10 weeks, so I'm assuming this will happen in January or something. Unless we burn copies and watch it seperately while IM'ing each other.

...

Also? SDF-1? When it first crashed on earth, it was refered to in the japanese original as Alien Space Ship One. Or, as my inner twelve year old is tickled pink to reveal, ASS-1.

HAHAHAHAHA hrem.
